Champion Forest Baptist Church is a great place for young moms. Not only is the Bible taught with clarity and earnestness, but our church has a wonderful preschool ministry designed to model and teach the love of Jesus to babies and young children.

Here are the opportunities available to our church families with children under four:

SUNDAY MORNINGS:

Babies and Children are enrolled in Sunday School classes while parents attend Sunday School and one of two worship services. From newborns to preschoolers, children are cared for in a loving enironment where the Word of God is modeled and taught in age-appropriate sessions. Most classes have the same teacher each week, although in some cases teachers rotate every other week. The Lifeway curriculum is used and take-home sheets are distributed so parents can follow-up at home with Bible Truths taught during class.

Since teachers participate in a special time of prayer preceding Sunday School, parents are asked to bring their children to Sunday School no earlier than 9:15.

TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS: Mother's Day Out, 9 AM - 2 PM.

Infants and children through two years of age (on or before September 1) are loved and taught in small classes where the biblically-based Wee Learn curriculum is utilized. This program runs from Labor Day through mid-May and observes Klein ISD holidays and school closings. Spaces fill up fast, and registration begins in March.

MONDAY-FRIDAY: Christian Preschool, 9 AM - 2PM.

Classes are available for children who are toilet-trained and at least 3 years old (on or before September 1) through age five. A four-day program is available for 4's and 5's, a 3-day program is available for 3's and 4's, and a two-day program is offered for 3's. The biblically-based Wee Learn curriculum is followed and children learn at their own rate through the use of blocks, home living, art, music, nature, books and puzzles.

FAMILY LIFE CENTER

Childcare is available six days a week from 9 AM until noon for members of the Family Life Center. Childcare is limited to a maximum of two hours a day and is strictly for use during workout sessions and classes. There is no additional fee.

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES

Childcare is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays during scheduled ladies' Bible study classes. There is no additional fee.

LADIES LUNCHEONS

On the second Wednesday of each month, childcare is offered (9:15-1:15) to Sunday School classes who would like to host a Bible study luncheon. Registration is available through the mom's Sunday School class. The fee is $2 per child.

MOMS (Moms of Many Seasons)

Childcare is available during this mentoring program, held the second and fourth Fridays of each month.

SUNDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES

Childcare is available druing FAITH and Precepts classes on Sunday nights.

CHOIR

Choir members who attend Monday night practices are offered childcare.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT CHURCH SERVICES AND LIFE UNIVERSITY

Childcare is available during the Wednesday evening service and for parents who attend Life University classes at the church.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

On the first Friday of each month, parents are encouraged to make a date and spend time nurturing their marriages. Childcare is offered from 6:30 til 9:45 for birth through age 12. Fee is $7/child with a maximum of $25/family. Registration must be made through the parents' Sunday School class.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SOCIALS

Sunday School classes are encouraged to schedule their social events on the third Friday of each month so members' children can take advantage of a fun-filled evening designed especially for them. During themed events, children rotate through snacks, games, crafts, and movietime. Fee is $2 per child and hours are 6:30-9:45. Registration must be conducted through the parents' Sunday School class.

SUMMER SANDBOX

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 AM -2 PM, June 24-July 10 and July 22-August 7. For birth through completed kindergarten. Classes with Christ-centered curriculum, including chapel, computer lab, music, and special events with water slides and inflatables! Enrollment is limited. HELPFUL HINTS:

• Label everything!



• Children are received 15 minutes prior to the event start time.



• With the exception of Sunday morning Sunday School (which is considered Sunday School rather than childcare), all childcare offered at the church is conducted through an office called Learn and Play. All childcare staff is paid.



• A Nursing Moms Room is available in the Preschool Department, across from the library. A changing table is currently available only in that restroom.
